Yesterday I spent all day analyzing myself. Every time I walked by a mirror, I looked—which, granted, is not that abnormal for me. But still. I checked out skin, my pearly whites, my hair, and then…I went straight for the ass. I decided to pull my pants down to check out the firmness of my bottom. Nice, but could be firmer.
One of the biggest complaints among women concerning their physical appearance is the lack of a firm butt. Let’s face it, there’s hardly anything less flattering on a woman than a butt that is flabby and saggy. It’s never too late to get in shape, though; fortunately, there are a few things you can do to help get a firm butt.
Work your muscle. Your butt is one of the biggest muscles in your body. If you want it to be firm and strong, you have to condition it on a regular basis. Try easy exercises such as skipping rope, swimming or dancing.
Change your routine. If you usually take the bus to work, try riding your bike. Instead of sitting at your desk during your lunch hour, get outside and take a walk. Climb the stairs instead of taking the escalator. Although you may not see much change in your butt in the short run, with a little dedication you will begin to see the results of your efforts.
Eat a low-calorie and low-fat diet. There are many fat cells in your butt that balloon when excess calories are consumed. Once fat cells are filled, you get the “cottage cheese” appearance of cellulite on your butt. Keep those fat cells at bay by eating a diet low in calories and fat and by drinking a lot of water.
Keep it in plain view. The only way to stay motivated about getting a firm butt is to keep it out in the open. Instead of hiding it under baggy clothes, wear tight-fitting pants so you can better monitor your progress. Likewise, find pictures of the body you would like to have and post them where you’re sure to take notice. Jennifer Aniston, you’re on my wall!

THE ASS!!
I know I am going about this the wrong way but I try to keep a little weight on me so that my butt can look a little bigger and firmer. I walk a lot and even exercised a lot at one point but it would never firm up with much conviction. I don’t know what it is, actually, I do – and I see it each time I look at my parents – I see no butts! I mean, they by no means have the type that seems to be sucked in toward the abdomen but it’s not the nice rounded bubble butt that I see chicks with on the street. I see them and try to fake that I’m not looking at them, all the while, wanting one just like it. Crazy!
You’re right Sherika! I have to keep working out and keeping at it before it takes me adding on 50lbs just to fake a butt.
